I can't eat what? That was my initial thought when my CrossFit coach was explaining Paleo to me. Paleo shmaleo...my second thought. It wasn't until a coworker, who recently joined CrossFit, said she wanted to do the Paleo diet that I reluctantly warmed up to the concept. I ultimately agreed to join her and give it a try.

My goal? To be a beast. In my opinion CrossFit is the best workout regimen anyone can have. The next step is nutrition.

As for week 3, I did pretty well. I did have a few cheats including a Jr. Burger from Sonic but in my defense, it was 2pm and I was STARVING! I also ate a pre-packaged tuna fish lunch (with the crackers). Eh, it wasn’t too bad. As for week 4….. well, I did a pretty terrible job prepping for it.

I spend most of every Sunday cooking for the week. I feel like I was in the kitchen all day yesterday and in the end I had very little to show for it. Looks like I will be cooking throughout the week so I won’t starve.

Alrighty, Here is the end of week 3/beginning of week 4. I was down 1.5lbs this morning from the start of this whole thing. Although I didn’t expect to loose much, I did hope to loose more than this. I do however, think I look more defined and I feel a lot better overall.

Day one of week 3…. slightly disastrous. For bosses day, I was brought munchkin donuts from Dunkin Donuts. America might run on Dunkin, but me, I just crashed on Dunkin. Six donut holes later and I was experiencing a sugar crash like no other, headache and all. Lesson? Don’t eat tons of sugary “goodness” after eating pretty clean for two weeks. It’s no bueno.

I just went to taco stand across the street to get some lunch. I parked in the very first spot, closest to the door. I was in there 5-10mins. Probably more like 5. I came back out and my driver side door was wide open. I stopped, slowly approached, peeked inside. Everything looked fine. I still had a stereo, my things were all where I left them. So I got in and drove back to the office. As I’m walking in the door I catch my reflection in the door. My zipper was down. 

I fail at today so far.
